Dr. Henderson…I’m impressed with your passion to help folks. I met you at Prestonwood Church in Plano last November. As you were signing my book, I related to you that I’ve battled mental illness for 40 years. Then I think you said “God probably let that happen for a purpose.” I have no doubt. My main ministry is to the mentally ill. I could just start “going public” about my illness about 5 years ago with an organization called NAMI. I found something better in 2007 in Celebrate Recovery at Prestonwood Church; but they shut it down this past December.
If ever you need someone like me to come along side & tell their story, please let me know. I will be praying for you, your family, and your ministry/practice.
